FAQ’S
This is my first pregnancy, am I ready for this? Is this for me?
Absolutely! Every pregnancy brings with it different lessons, with different ways to prepare. You don’t need to have birthed before, to know birth. Your spirit and body already do, you’ve just forgotten. But you will remember, as soon as you begin this program.
Is this only for homebirthers / freebirthers?
The majority of women I work with are considering , or choosing, a home birth or unmedicalised pregnancy and/or birth - because that is what intuitive birthing means to them. But this may not mean this for you. I truly believe that if women are strongly connected to their inner knowing, that they make significantly different decisions in pregnancy, birth and motherhood to what the majority of women are making. And what that means looks very different for every woman. I believe birthing decisions should come from a place of power and intuition - rather than manipulated by fear. So, in short, no - this program is for any birthing woman that wants to become autonomous, brave, powerful and intuitive in preparation for their birth. No matter what their ‘plan’ is at this stage.
How can I explain this to my partner/husband?
This is it, this is some of the biggest work right here. Stepping into your birthing power allows you to see all the ways in which you, as the birthing mother, needs to be centred. During pregnancy, labour, birth and as the Matriarch of the household post birth, and onwards. This is when you start to walk in the shoes of the woman who understands that only she is responsible for her birth and that only she can birth her baby. That when she becomes certain of what she needs, her circle of support will join her in that. With this comes self responsibility, autonomy and expectations. High expectations - of her needs and requirements. If you trust you, your partner will. If you believe in this, your partner does too. If you know you need this, your partner will be on board.
Can’t I just do this on my own?
Sure, we are teaching self responsibility and autonomy after all! But have you ever worked with a Mentor that mirrored back to you what you couldn’t see yourself? Have you ever had the space held for you, so deeply and authentically, that what you’d missed deep down, was seen by a new set of eyes - attuned at looking for it. Having someone to work with you that expands you, further than you thought you could. That invites you into your power at every step, that believes in you, probably more than you believe in yourself. This is why your intuition brought you here. Why your heart called you to walk this path alongside a woman who has walked it before.
I’m a Mama with kiddos, I’m already struggling to find time for myself - how will I fit in this program?
In this program we are working with energy. In particular releasing stagnant energy. Getting your energy in flow, gets your time management in flow. Freeing up energy, is freeing up space and time. When you do this program, I am showing you the blocks that were clogging up your vibration, and in turn, clogging up your thoughts and your physical world. We identify all the ways in which these blocks were taking up space - which when cleared, will not only free up flow, but also make room in all areas of your life. Plus! I wrote the program and I am a Mama! So I created bi-weekly calls, instead of weekly and a manageable, no-overwhelm home practice to fit into your lifestyle.
I’ve already invested in a Midwife and Doula, how do I know this is any different from what they’re providing?
In my experience, weighing up whether or not to invest in yourself is never about the money. It’s driven by the beliefs we’ve created, around what is valuable to us or not and how worthy we are of what we are desiring.
Everything within the physical and emotional realms, manifest from the energetic - so whilst you may have paid for support for the physical and emotional parts of you - know that the investment in the energetic is long term, long lasting and at the core of EVERYTHING. Clear it and align it on the energetic level, clear it and align it in ALL other parts of you.
